I George W. Buford of the County of Scotland and state of Missouri, by occupation a farmer, make this my last will.
1st - I order and direct that all of my just debts and funeral expenses be paid with convenient speed.
2nd - I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Amanda C. Buford the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) in cash.
3rd - Having given my daughter Amanda C. Buford One Thousand Dollars in cash I give, devise and bequeath
my daughters Amanda C. Buford, Elizabeth A. Comley, Virginia C. Dauma and Lottie
Comley one fifth of the remainder of my estate both real, personal and mixed,
share and share alike.
4th - To Elmer Watkins, George Watkins and Edna Watkins, children of my daughter, Lena L. Watkins, Deceased, I give, devise and bequeath one fifth of my estate and property both real, personal and mixed after my just debts and funeral expenses are paid and after One Thousand Dollars in cash is paid to my daughter Amanda C. Buford, each share and share alike, when they become of legal age. Part of this to be used, if needed, to give them an education.
5th - My daughter Kate L. Raine, Deceased, having died without giving birth to any children and leaving her husband Robert S. Raine alive, I make no provision for her the said Kate L. Raine or her husband Robert S. Raine.
I appoint Joseph M. Comley of the County of Scotland and state of Missouri, by occupation a farmer, and Elmer H. Dauma of the state of Missouri by occupation a farmer executors of this my last will.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have signed and sealed and published and declared this instrument as my last will at my home in Scotland County, Missouri, on this 11th day of February A. D. 1916.
