R. E. McDowell Improved

Mr. Robert A. McDowell of Louisville, a nephew of Mrs. H. C. McDowell, underwent an operation for appendicitus at the Norton Infirmary at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon and yesterday he was reported resting easy with best prospects for a speedy recovery.

Mr. McDowell was taken ill while attending a dinner Saturday evening.  He was taken home, where he continued to grow worse until Midnight when he was removed to the infirmary.

Mr. McDowell is one of the most successful lawyers in Louisville and is well know here, where he has many friends.
