Buried at Louisville by the side of her distinguished husband.

Louisville, February 5 --  Mrs. William Preston was buried in the Cave Hill Cemetery this morning.  The remains arrived from Lexington at 12:19 p.m. over the L. & N. and were at once taken to the cemetery and laid by her husband's side in the Preston family lot.

The remains were accompanied to the grave by the members of the Preston, Thornton and Johnson families.  Col. M. Lewis Clark, Mrs. Basil W. Duke, Mrs. Samuel Henning, Mrs. John Mason Brown and family, Mr. and Mrs. George M. Davie, Mrs. St. John Boyle, Mrs. Robert Bell and a number of close friends of the family.  Services at the grave were conducted by Rev. Mr. Lewis of Lexington assisted by Rev. Charles Craik, of Christ Church, Louisville.

The pall bearers were Gen. Basil Duke, Judge James Pirwe, Mr. Preston Rogers, Mr. Branck Ballard, Mr. Thomas Satterwhite, Mr. Charles Johnson, Mr. Mason Barrett, Mrs. J. C. Beckham, Judge Alex Humphrey and Mr. R. T. Durrett.
